29 When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord. (Exodus 34:29)
A glimpse of God changes a person. To see God pass by has an effect. To spend time in His presence does something to us. Or at least it should.
We are willing to change how we think about something because a good teacher teaches well. We are willing to alter our perceptions about something because we see good reason to do so. We are willing to let movies and television shows affect the ways that we think.
But do we see God in the world around us? And does that change us at all?
This blog is mostly about looking for Him and a little about talking about Him and all about thinking about Him. We all see things with our own eyes. As much as we try to live another’s life or perhaps be someone else, even for just a few moments, we can only see things through our own eyes. We can only experience our own lives. So these are the glimpses from my eyes and my eyes alone. You will probably think differently than me, I certainly hope so. You may agree and you may not. Either way, I hope you make the most of your own glimpses, whatever they may be.
